In the last post I mentioned a ceramic pitcher with an attached frother I purchased at Big Sugar Bakeshop. I thought I’d write more about this place because it is my favorite cupcake place to go to. Not only do they have delicious cakes and daily specials, but they also have a wide variety of merchandise and baking products.
I also bought a couple Hummingbird cupcakes yesterday:
It has a cream cheese and pineapple frosting, and yes, we enjoyed it very much. Check out more about Big Sugar Bakeshop at its main site and blog page. BSB is located at Ventura and Vantage in Studio City, CA.
Don’t you love it when you get your own mini pitcher of water or tea at a restaurant, free for you to grab and help yourself to refill? Or when you order that oreo shake at the diner and they give you another cold tall cup of extra leftover shake to refill your first glass?
These hottles are cute and perfect to leave that leftover beverage in while you’re working on your first cup. If you have just enough excess coffee or tea made, pour it in the hottle and carry it with you to the table or living room or outdoor patio, wherever to enjoy without having to get up for a refill. As the Sur La Table’s item description states, hottles are “a gracious way to serve guests with their own individual pots of tea or coffee”.
The simple appearance itself is great to look at, as if it is beckoning you to pour yourself another drink.
